Education Network

Our next meeting will be on 19th November 2025. – joint session with the SE19 SEND Strategic Leads.

Our Network works with the SE19 SEND Network, liaising about parallel developments across education including children and young people with SEND and support for implementation of the DfE’s SEND and AP Improvement Plan.

We will be drafting an updated plan following the change of government. In the meantime here is our most recent forward plan for information.

Education Directors Network Meeting documents:

Work with DfE RISE (Regional Improvement for Standards and Excellence)

The SESLIP Education Directors Network welcomes the focus on school improvement and standards of the DfE’s RISE programme and meet regularly with the DfE’s South-east Regions Group office to discuss approaches and develop collaboration.

The following Collaborative Approaches Agreement was reached in autumn 2025 to guide communication between RISE targeted support advisors and the local authority.
