SESLIP is founded on a Memorandum of Understanding which has been agreed nationally and in the South East. East Sussex County Council acts as the lead authority and also Chairs the Programme Steering Group.
Additionally, participating authorities have each signed tailored ‘Memorandums of Understanding’ to support the SE children’s sector-led improvement programme. These can be downloaded from the “Tools, Templates & Useful Links” box, below.
The new 2023-2024 version has minor drafting changes, reflecting the ending of the DfE Regional Recovery Fund grant obligations (various clauses deleted), and the move into sharing of child-level data in the data benchmarking arena, with an amended clause 5.3.
It replaces the version issued on 1 July 2022
