- .Working with the South East Regional Care Cooperative, we will support the development of the SEND workforce in residential settings, by supporting 12 residential workers to become registered managers by providing sponsorship for them Social Pedagogy at the Diploma at Kingston University.
- This will contribute to improving sufficiency and the ability of the six local authorities involved (West Sussex, Portsmouth, RBWM, Reading, Wokingham and Surrey) improving the performance in relation to the KPI to reduce the number of children placed at distance from their homes.
SESLIP has developed this programme to support future leaders in Children’s Social Care, Education, SEND, Early Help and other aspects of children’s services. It is supported as Project #4 in the 2025-2026 SESLIP Regional Improvement Plan.
