Julie Greer – Regional Co-ordinator for the National Centre for Family Hubs
Hello, my name is Julie Greer and I am the Regional Co-ordinator for the National Centre for Family Hubs. I am also working in the South East to support the development of the Family Hubs to meet local need, keeping families at the heart of the transformation process. I am also the Policy and Practice Advisor for SEND and I would be very happy to support you in thinking about how to meet the needs of children and young people within your Family Hubs.
We have made contact with every South East LA to date but if you would like to speak to us about your ideas around Family Hubs, please do email us. Our contact details can be found at the bottom of this page. We work closely together and are passionate about supporting Family Hub development in the South East, so please do get in touch.
Family Hub Community of Practice
A community of practice can work in a variety of ways, but an effective CoP will always engage participants in developing their own thinking alongside those with a shared interest.
We want to encourage those working on their Family Hub development in the South East to build knowledge, share best practice, explore the evidence base behind established programmes to support families, and promote innovative ideas that could start to make a difference.
There are a number of ways in which we aim to develop the Family Hub CoP across the South East, which are through;
SESLIP Early Help meetings
Julie attends these meetings to share updates on both the national and regional Family Hub development and offer our support to the LAs. Please contact rebeccaeligon@gmail.com if you would like to attend.
South East Family Hub leads
The majority of LAs in the region have provided us with a lead for their Family Hub work, which can be found using the South East Family Hub lead contacts link.
