Family Hubs – Welcome to Carly Bain

Update:

Welcome to Carly Bain who is the newly appointed SE Regional Co-ordinator of the Family Hubs Programme. If you are interested in learning more about the project or working with her, please contact her at carly.bain@iow.gov.uk

The post is currently funded by the DfE until December 2022, and it has been established to assist the development and enhancement of Family Hubs across the region.

upon Inspiring Leaders have announced,

We’re thrilled that we will be looking for our next cohort of Aspirant Directors Programme candidates from February 2022. Are you an aspiring inspirational leader looking to be the positive changemaker the UK’s young people can depend upon? Starting in September 2022 and running until March 2023, upon will be back with 2 more cohorts of the upon Aspirant Directors Programme.”

Revised memorandum of cooperation on agency social workers – deadline for responses Friday 21 January

Update:

A quick reminder that Friday 21 January is the deadline for responding to mark@markevansconsulting.co.uk with comments on the text of the revised memorandum of co-operation on agency social workers.

Programme:

Reforming how local authority school improvement functions are funded

Update:

On 11 January 2022, DfE published its response to the consultation about the withdrawal of the School Improvement and Monitoring Brokering grant.

Action Required:

It includes the timetable for implementation of its withdrawal and flexibilities about some de-delegation reporting to ESFA in 2022.

On 11 January, DfE launched a consultation on proposed revisions to Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) for the 2022 edition.
