Project 16: Transformation Network

A newly formed network

The SESLIP Transformation group brings together practice and programme transformation leads from across the 19 SESLIP authorities. It is supported as Project #16 in the 2025-2026 SESLIP Regional Improvement Plan. This is a newly formed group in autumn 2025 with an initial focus on the delivery of children’s social care reforms, but ambitions to focus on wider children’s services transformation outside of the reforms.

The purpose of the group is to build relationships and share and improve transformation and change practice across the South East local authorities.  The group meets 6 weekly and has standing items relating to:

  • A themed discussion relating to reform;
  • project and transformation practice sharing from a LA (not relating to reform)
  • issues for escalation to the SESLIP DCSs.

Stuart Ashley (DCS Hampshire) is the Project Sponsor and Chair.
