SWE consultation on Readiness for Professional Practice closes 21 September

Update:

On 29 June Social Work England launched a consultation on Readiness for Professional Practice which closes on 21 September.

You can view and respond to the consultation here

Action Required:

SWE are consulting on ‘readiness for professional practice’, guidance that sets out the knowledge, skills, and behaviours they expect student social workers to demonstrate in order to apply to register.  They expect the values, ethics and professional expectations of social work outlined in the professional standards to be embedded across these three areas. It is an initial step in their ambition to assure consistency in outcomes for students qualifying from education and training courses.
