Bringing together Early Help leads from across the 19 SESLIP authorities

The SESLIP Early Help group brings together early help leads from across the 19 SESLIP authorities.

The purpose of the group is to build relationships and share and improve practice across the South East local authorities.  The group meets each quarter and has standing items relating to:

  • A themed discussion;
  • quarterly data benchmarking;
  • issues for escalation to the SESLIP DCSs.

Grainne Siggins (DCS Bracknell Forest) is the Project Sponsor and Chair.

Please contact Rebecca Eligon (details below) for an invitation link.

There is a contact list of Early Help Leads here.

Early Help Narrative

The EH group has produced a narrative for Early Help which can be used by all LAs to explain the shared ethos driving an Early Help approach.

Getting ready for children’s social care reforms

The EH group has hosted two lunch and learn sessions where practice leaders in Southampton and Hampshire shared the learning from their family help pilots (neither LA are funded as part of the national pathfinders)
