Project 46: CYP & Continuing Care

The network has shared information, data and good practice to help Local Authorities to develop a more effective approach to the application of the CYPCC framework.

The project aims to support Local Authority representatives to work more effectively with ICBs as they emerge in their new structures and to engage ICB colleagues in the conversation about CYPCC

We aim to share information about current case law and use that more effectively to clarify legal responsibilities linking to the National Network and to colleagues in different regions is an important part of the work.

The network meets every 2 months and the network meetings are one part of the overall CYPCC project which also aims to gather and share data and information and consider how to strengthen the legal aspect of the Children and Young People’s Continuing Care Framework.
