The SESLIP fostering group brings together operational leads of fostering practice from across the 19 SESLIP authorities. It includes fostering managers, recruitment, marketing and assessment leads and others working on fostering practice. The network is supported as Project #37 in the 2025-2026 SESLIP Regional Improvement Plan.

The purpose of the group is to build relationships and share and improve practice across the South East local authorities.  The group meets each quarter and has standing items relating to:

  • themed discussion; and
  • issues for escalation to the SESLIP DCSs.

Sarah Daly (DCS Portsmouth) is the Project Sponsor
